Making changes to the farm in response to COVID

Updated: Sep 14, 2023

As you undoubtedly know, few businesses throughout the world have been left untouched by the global COVID-19 crisis. Like many of our counterparts, Lemos Farm closed for a period of time to help do our part to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our community, including employees and their families as well as our customers. We've recently reopened and have implemented several strategies designed to continue our commitment to good health. Here's what you need to know about how we're dealing with the pandemic at Lemos Farms:

We're Limiting Capacity

We'll be limiting capacity until further notice to comply with the State of California's guidelines for businesses and to help keep everyone safe and healthy while enjoying their visit to our farm. We're asking all guests to be mindful of social distancing recommendations and remain at least six feet apart from those not in their party. We're requesting that you practice patience and kindness in all interactions with other guests and employees.

Masks Are a Must

Everyone over the age of 9 is required to wear a mask while visiting our farm. Exemptions include those with medical or mental disabilities that preclude the person from wearing one. We're also asking that you apply hand sanitizer prior to entering and exiting our onsite attractions.

What We're Doing

We're diligently wiping down surfaces after each use to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. As an extra layer of protection, our bathrooms are currently being sprayed with the 24-hour disinfectant Microban for the purpose of keeping guests as safe as possible.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have about our existing COVID-19 policies.

To comply with San Mateo Health Guidelines, we are requiring everyone to wear a mask while visiting the farm (9 years old and under is optional).
